What does "SGP" mean?
In its initial incarnation, SGP was an arbitrarily chosen name that sounded good, the initials standing for "Scatterstar Galactia Productions" as a thinly-veiled pun on Battlestar Galactica [despite not having actually seen or read it at the time]. This was mostly because the idea of owning a 'company' was [and is] enticing, though for various reasons the full name has been swept aside. The name is primarily out of habit, but also because the domain name was cheap if purchased for use until 2010, so why not use it.It is a complete coincidence that SGP is the country code for Singapore. This was not a factor in any way in choosing the initials.
Where do you get your ideas?
Everywhere. I take any notion that enters my head and run with it until it's either brilliant or completely unusable [goes to the discard pile].For serious subjects, advice columns. It's the best way to get a well-rounded idea of what people are like.
